The Diet Control

Well well well...
This is quite an interesting thing going in my life right now..
better share it with u all.. to begin with how it all started..
on my last visit to home ammi was quite upfront about this ie. my waist line..
unlike typical indian mothers where the sadiyon se wala trademark opening is..
"kitna kamzor ho gaye ho, thik se kahte kyon nahi" se the dramatic change was--
"i think u should take care of ur waistline" , then i decided time has come to do something...
that coupled by a childhood friend of mine who in our half an hour meeting about 57th time
said " kitne mote ho gaye ho, pahle kitne patle the" -- i decided , its time to wake up ...
so that was the "tipping point" as Pranjal put it, was for me..

it all began about 2 months back..
in the beginning it satrted on the wrong note which came to know later.. where i was
starving myself to death.. and having calory filled "twister" in lunch... it all went on for about 10 days..
in the meanwhile i started looking for "the enlightment" on net.. and ya after going through
tons of pages i came to know some basic facts which i followed and which i am going to point it down.. its no secret but very simple things to follow.. and i can swear by it since i got the results..

--- count your calories.. if u start doing that half the battle is won
--- say a total goodbye to sugar or anything sweet-- in the beginning it might seem a bit difficult but trust me it really works
--- run or do something physical atleast for 45 mins a day-- i went for a combination of jogging and walk on alternate days
--- have minimal oil in your food
--- forget rice altogether-- convert to chapatis
--- drink water at regular interval througout the day-- that will meaning rushing to loo quite a lot as well :)
--- have frequent short meals-- prefereably fruits

Now the best part-
Result-- i lost 2.5 inch of waistline in one and a half months and 3 inch of abdomen waist
Sounds encouraging-- well it worked for me hope it does for u as well -- in case u need it..

and one more principle to remember is LIFO ie. Last In First Out..
so if u have put on weight around ur waist in the last -- u will lose it from there first--
so this fact helped me in my case-- this will of course vary from person to person..

so am i sounding like some Diet Guru :)--i think so.. But i know how worried i was about the whole thing.. so i can understand what goes through the whole time..

so lets stop it here for now..
